A True Collaborative Village At Tidal Roots Academy, we believe education is a family journey, not a hand-off. We are a true parent-collaborative community, meaning parents stay on-site during academy hours. While our guides lead the active curriculum, wilderness tracking, and farm projects, our parents form the supportive village that makes our co-op thrive. Whether you are helping at a project station, sharing a personal hobby or skill, or simply connecting with other homeschooling parents under the live oaks, you are an essential part of your child’s learning environment.
Parent Attendance vs. Volunteer Credits

Open Campus Policy: Parents are always welcome to stay, connect, and observe our morning scholarship or afternoon capability blocks. Staying on-site to observe does not alter monthly tuition rates.

Scheduled Volunteer Credits ($50/month): This specific credit is exclusively reserved for parents who officially apply for, log, and fulfill specific operational roles (e.g., Field Safety Aide or Logistics Lead).
Enrollment Fees & Materials
To secure your child’s position within our strict 20-student roster cap, the following non-refundable upfront fees are due upon contract execution:

Application & Registration Fee: $30 per student

This fee covers administrative onboarding, family interview processing, and secure portal setup.

Annual Supply & Curriculum Fee: $150 per student ($75 fall semester / $75 spring semester)

This fee directly funds your child's physical learning materials for the year, including our morning curriculum prints, science lab supplies, the rugged, high-quality materials required for our afternoon Venture Studio and Wayfinding tracks (such as specialized tools, cordage, and safety gear) and gear needed to start our garden (farmer's market stand) along with the opportunity to add raising chickens in the future.

Note: Upfront enrollment fees ensure our academy is fully provisioned and ready for field operations before our August launch. Roster positions are officially locked in only after the digital contract is signed and enrollment fees are processed.
